2. Structural Checks Come First
Once a bumper arrives, it goes through a hands-on inspection to check for any cracks, deep splits, or broken mounting points. These structural issues may not always be visible in a photo, so our team physically flexes the bumper to test its integrity. We also assess reinforcement bar mounts, brackets, and sensor housings (where present) to ensure they’re intact.
3. Cosmetic Damage Is Logged and Judged
A bumper can be safe even if it’s scratched or scuffed. Cosmetic wear is common with second-hand parts, and we’re always honest about it. Light scratches or paint fade don’t affect performance — but if a mark suggests deeper damage underneath, that bumper won’t be listed.
